A note on Quality
There are several options out there when it comesto an airbrush, and the choices are as individual and unique as we are. I don't for a minute suggest that an Iwata is the airbrush you have to use to get the results I do, but I will say that they are the best airbrushes I have used, and I will heartily reccomend them to anyone. After years of experimenting with a number of different airbrushes from a variety of companies, I have settled on the Iwate TR-1 and Kustom TH my airbrushes of choice. I use the TR-1 for precision work, and the TH for general work such as priming and varnishing, althoigh it is very necessary when it comes to working on large scale projects.
Iwata Revolution TR1 airbrush
The Revolution TR1 has a 0.3mm nozzle. Also available is the Revolution TR2 with 0.5mm nozzle. Both models come with a side-mount colour cup. You may also use Iwata side-mounted bottles and cups, available separately in various sizes from 1/16oz to 2oz.
Iwata Kustom TH airbrush
The first airbrush to create a fan-patterned spray, the TH stands alone among its peers. Triggering the imagination of auto-body touch-up and Kustom painting, the Kustom TH delivers unprecedented control of a fan pattern with a minimum of overspray giving it a unique advantage over mini touch up guns. Great for small areas such as chip repair, fender welds, door jams and other hard-to-reach areas.
