AFV Club 1:48th Scale Tiger I

This model is of a Tunisian Tiger finished in Afrika Korps Sand Grey (White Ensign ColourCoats of course) and weathered using Winsor & Newtons Raw Umber and Paynes Grey, along with CMK Stardust Weathering Pigments. Many of the kit parts were replaced with photo-etched parts from Aber and Hauler, including the mud skirts and exhaust shields. the brackets for the air filter hoses were scratch-built, and to be honest there is a fair amount of detail packed into this little model. The tracks are the superb WWII Productions resin replacements, and have hollow guidehorns, adding to the realism.
