Welcome to my personal website, and thanks for having a look in. I hope that my site will prove to not only be inspirational but also informative, and I also encourage you the visitor to drop me a line and let me know what you think. I will be constantly updating the website as I get time with new models, old ones, and anything I think may be of interest.
This May 4th I will be making a trip to Siegen in Germany to visit and do some demonstrating at the Modellbau freunde show in Wilnsdorf

A Little About Myself:
I guess I should let you know a little bit about myself. I have been modelling since I was about 10; however I stopped during my teenage and early adult years when I discovered the wonders of women, alcohol, and some other stuff I probably shouldn't mention here. I took up modelling again after the birth of my first child John. At the time my wife Roberta and I were running a pub in London and I needed something better to do with my time than drink myself silly every night.
After a couple of years building constantly I decided it was time for me to start doing modelling articles, and thus I approached a couple of magazines about doing articles for them. Spencer Pollard at MIS was the first to take me up on the offer and Spencer helped me a great deal with learning how to produce an interesting modelling article and as a result my first article in print was the 32nd Hasegawa FW-190D-9 in the November 2003 Issue of Military in Scale.
Tony Little from Military Modelcraft International also came back to me, and was kind enough to print my first armour article in the form of a 653 battalion Porsche Tiger I put on a railcar. If anyone has seen or remembers the article, you will know what an act of kindness it was on Tony's part. Tony is one of the good guys in the hobby.
It was when I first started working with Ken Jones at Military Modelling in 2004 that I really started to develop my article writing style and the two of us have worked together and have been friends ever since. Ken has been a great influence on me, and I do not look forward to his impending retirement in the next couple of years!
As I modelled aircraft as well as armour, I approached Richard Franks who was then the editor of SAMI and he ran my Revell 1:32 Ki-61 in the October 2004 Issue.
I have since worked with several aviation magazines, and am now looking forward to working with David Parker at AIR Modeller for the future.
I have also worked hard at getting into magazines on the Continent as well as overseas and currently write for Modellfan in Germany, Model Expert in Greece, Replic and Steel Masters in France, Model X in the USA, and Modellbouw in Holland. My articles have also appeared in Panzer Graph in Japan.
Currently I am working with the Airbrush Company in Lancing, tutoring a pair of courses on Airbrushing Techniques and Weathering. For more information on the courses please follow the courses link on the navigation menu to the right.
I am married to a very supportive wife Roberta, who has been patiently waiting for all of my modelling ventures to earn some money and she has made endless sacrifices in doing so. Basically, buy as much MasterCasters stuff as you can and save my marriage! 
I have four spectacular children, whom all provide me with far more enjoyment than I could ever get from anything else, including modelling, and they are simply my greatest achievement. John is 7 (as of March 2008), Andy is 5, April is 3 and Aaron is just coming up to 1 year old (April 6th). If modelling is your only hobby I strongly suggest getting into producing children, as it is far more interesting and much more rewarding.
